FACELIFT
As we age sun exposure, weight fluctuation,
and actual process of aging makes our skin loose and
redundant resulting in wrinkles and jowls. The muscles
of the neck itself can also sag causing you to look
and feel much older than you are. At Élan
Plastic Surgery Group we can offer a variety
of surgeries to address the wrinkling of the face and
neck.
We not only offer a traditional facelift of removing
skin and tightening up the musculature of the face,
but also have an armamentarium of various other adjuvant
procedures to help make the face more youthful. These
procedures include soft tissue fillers, lipoaugmentation
as well as limited approach facelift surgery to rejuvenate
the face. We believe that a facelift should result
in a natural look, one that is soft and appears cosmetically
in harmony with the rest of the body. We will achieve
this through an extensive experience in facelift
surgery which allows us to deliver what are patient
are looking for.
Facelift procedure at Élan Plastic Surgery Group is
performed either in our North Shore Surgi-Center or
a multitude of different hospitals that we operate
in including St. Margaret’s
as well as Butler Hospital. The procedure itself takes
between 2-5 hours and can be combined with other facial
rejuvenation.
Post-operatively our patients report
that although there is not a tremendous amount of
pain that lasts more than 1-2 days, the bruising and
swelling is persistent for 2-3 weeks. Because of the
bruising we ask patients to not schedule any major
events in that time period. We look forward to discussing
