BLEPHAROPLASTY
The eyes are one of the first areas of the body that
show aging. Some people age much more aggressively
around the eyes than others, yielding a look of
a tired and sad appearance. Atrophy of fat as well
as the lid position cause an appearance that is
unharmonious with the rest of the face. Eyelid
surgery – Blepharoplasty – is
one of the most common procedures that we perform at
Élan Plastic Surgery Group. Through this procedure,we
are able to return the eyes to a more youthful
appearance removing excess skin, removal of fat
and re-sculpturing with fat so that the eye and
the whole eyelid appear congruent with the rest
of the face.
We perform blepharoplasty at Élan Plastic Surgery Group at our North Shore Surgical office. Surgery itself
takes between 1-2 hours to perform.
The pain rarely lasts more than one day; the bruising
can be persistent for about a week. We look forward
