ABDOMINOPLASTY
The abdominal region of the body is one that childbirth,
excess weight gain or loss, aging and/or gastric
bypass surgery lead to issues with self-confidence.
Because of this at the Élan Plastic
Surgery Group we’ve
learned to improve abdominal contour and sculpt the
abdomen to yield a more harmonious appearance with
the rest of the body. An incision is made just above
the pubic line and we can do all of our removal
of fat and skin through this incision yielding
a very inconspicuous scar.
Élan Plastic Surgery Group performs
abdominoplasty surgery at the surgical center. The
procedure itself takes between 1-2 hours to perform.
We offer minimally invasive techniques as well as endoscopic
techniques to limit the incision for appropriate candidates.
Application of the proper technique for each individual
patient can help achieve the goal that each patient
wants to accomplish. Recovery period for this surgery
is in the region of 2-3 weeks with most discomfort
lasting 72 hours. Sometimes we have drains as part
of the surgery which are only kept in for 5-7 days
